Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Roxel ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Roxel is a daily love check-in application that allows users to track daily interactions across five dimensions: Communication, Companionship, Rituals, Closeness, and Acts of Care. The App uses a coin-based system for check-in submissions.

3. User Account

When you first use Roxel, an anonymous local account is automatically created on your device. No personal identifying information is required. Your account data is stored exclusively on your device.

4. In-App Purchases

Roxel offers consumable in-app purchases ("Coins") that are used to submit check-in records. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Coins are consumable virtual items and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
• Each check-in submission costs 10 Coins
• Coin balances are stored locally on your device

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including text notes and photos. All content is stored locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or store your content on any server.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal relationship tracking. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the App

7. Data Loss

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss due to device damage, loss, software updates, or user actions including account deletion. We recommend regular device backups.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings page. This action is irreversible and will permanently remove all your check-in records, photos, coin balance, and other data.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws.
